Landscape Forms

The shapes and forms of the landscape are the  starting point for these pastel works.  I have used pastel for a number of years to create bold and colourful images. The medium has a tactile but fragile quality that I enjoy exploiting. Landscapes forms and shapes are the starting point. Over this I focus on harmonies and tonal contrasts.
